Notes to Statements 1: Traveller Misconceptions

The Travellers:we are not who you think we are

1.We are rich.

If only you know how much we make a month, how much control we put ourselves into so that we could cut our expenses and save more without compromising our health and necessities. If only you know also how we try to spend less during trips by lessening any bs expenses, how we try to convince people to take our side to keep the spending at minimum without detrimental effects to our guides and those who help us get where we want to, how we eat less or eat just enough to survive, and so on...

2.We have the liberty to go places on our accord.

We are from the working class of the population. Just like most of you, we also have an 8-5 job, a boss and deadlines. But, we put more effort to find time in our limited schedule. If we cant teleport from Baguio to the different parts of the Philippines then how much more around the world. If only we could just snap our finger and get our private jet that will bring us to the beautiful beaches, the great boondocks of our country or to the other untouched places of this pearl of the orient seas then i would greatly do it, but, nahhhh it's not just like that. God said I gotta move my ass.


3.We are the happy go lucky type.

 Ow come on?! Why are we equated as not giving much care about life just because we do not do what others are doin? Why cant we just be the normal type of people just because we are different? Why? I dont judge you people as workaholics just because you dont do what we do. I dont even say that you guys haven't fully enjoyed life just because you preferred to build your own name in the business world or if a family is what you want or whatever it is that you are in to.

4.We are just building our portfolio to make people envy the way we live.

Hahahah. This is something I didnt hear about as of now but i feel people have this feelings about us. First, we don't know who you are and we dont even know you exist. (As pointed out, this notion is just something my mind created but ill assume some are feelin this way.haha) Second, well, what do you think do we have after goin places? Do you really think we don't even have much frozen memories? It is a bi product not the main one. Stop lookin at our adventures, will you? Coz i know you can go places too. Come with us or should i say, see you in the different paths of the world:)

5. We always have fun.

Hahaha. Ow wait till you try getting mobbed on the road. Wait till you get lost, not the not-all-those-wo-wander-are-lost type but the serious type of lost in the truest sense.  Wait till you try your very best to be safe but  you still get your life at stake or somebody elses and you know you are so damn lucky if you ever survive (to add- wait till you're almost get Taken). Wait till you want to run but you can't. Wait till you try your body ache but you cant even identify where to apply the medicines and put anything to make it feel less the pain nor put any band aids on it. Wait till you couldnt almost believe why you are doing it and you start scolding yourself why did you let your body try extreme exhaustion and anything you should not do. Wait till you think you're flying but you're actually being blown by heavy winds and get numbed by the cold winds. Wait when you can't even understand and communicate to people around you when you really really need something. Wait till you are so inconveniently unable to make yourself comfortable. Wait till you try to patiently wait hours because of delayed flights and not making on time on different targeted schedules. Wait till you die inside because you cant afford doing something you really really want to just because you dont have enough money. Wait till you hit the road and you are faced with the different fates of people that ignites anger within you because you know they dont deserve pain and lack of neccessities. Wait till your conscience eats you alive because you didnt do something one way or another on the things you saw. Wait till you realize something when it is too late. Wait when you left your heart in different places even though you just have one. Wait when you forget something, failed to bring something or lost something. Wait when you thought you found love but it doesn't give you back what you've given. Wait when what you expected doesn't even happen.wait when you come on the wrong time and in every single way wrong. Wait when you see someone you dont want to and they destroy the atmosphere you wished to have.  Wait when you meet people who are so anoying and whatever type you really dont want to. Wait when you fall inlove with a place and you dont want to leave but you gotta leave coz u got life waiting for you back home. Wait when you get every single cell in your anatomy get broken but no one is there to mend it. wait when everything really goes donwhill and you keep on repeating: " it will change, it will soon be great" but it doesnt  so you wish youd just go home. wait when you get home and you just break into crying with no reason or whatsoever, you just really cry nonstop like a lunatic. Wait when after all this years you thought you go back to the same home you left and everythings gonna be the same but it doesn't. Wait when you discover yourself and you are not what you think you are. Just try and see how fun it is to experience all of this epic fails but you end up saying you did have the best experience to date.
